Troy Dickens, owner and operator of Main Street Auto Body, has had a passion for the automotive industry for many years. The sport of working on cars has run in the Dickens family for many generations. Troy's father started working on cars in his uncle's shop when he was just a small child. Pictured above is Troy's father, Allan Dickens, posing by his very first vehicle.
Here is a picture of Allan Dickens' award winning car, "Cherry Pie". Work on this vehicle was done by Troy's great uncle "Junior Harris" at his small auto body shop in Desoto, Missouri.
Main Street Auto Body is created. Over the years Troy picked up the passion of automotive repair and restoration, from a long line of automotive repairmen. In 1989, Troy took his passion and converted it into a business, known today as Main Street Auto Body. The auto body shop was originally built on Main Street in Park Hills, Missouri (hence our namesake). The shop has since expanded to a newer building on Donnelly Street, but the namesake prevails. (Pictured above is the early stages of the construction of the current shop)
Built on a strong family foundation, this business has a passion that will carry on for generations. We hope to serve you!
